Refunds & Returns
This Policy is part of the Terms & Conditions governing all orders placed on Doit DigiFabb India Private Limited’s e-commerce platform.

1. GENERAL TERMS
This Refund, Return and Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases of 3D printers, consumables, software licenses, accessories, spare parts, and services (“Products”) sold by Doit DigiFabb India Private Limited (“DigiFabb”, “we”, “our”).
By placing an order on our platform, the customer (“you”, “your”) acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the terms below.
2.PRODUCT-WISE REFUND & RETURN POLICY
2.1.3D PRINTERS, INDUSTRIAL MACHINES & EQUIPMENT
(Includes all 3d printers, scanners, and industrial machines)
2.1.1.Before Shipment
- Full refund is permitted but payment gateway charges (2.5%–3%) are non-refundable.
- Processing will begin only after written cancellation request from the registered email ID.
2.1.2.After Shipment but Before Delivery
- Cancellation is NOT permitted.
- If cancellation is forced due to special circumstances (management discretion), customer must bear:
- Forward shipping cost
- Return logistics
- Handling & repacking charges (₹2,000–₹15,000 depending on machine)
- Gateway charges remain non-refundable.
2.1.3.After Delivery
- Strictly NO refund, NO return, NO cancellation once the machine is delivered.
- Opening the packaging, unboxing, switching on the machine, or installation by anyone is considered acceptance of goods.
- Only warranty support is applicable.
2.1.4.Dead-on-Arrival (DOA) Replacement Criteria
Replacement is only possible if:
- Issue is reported within 24 hours of delivery.
- Customer provides:
- Complete unboxing video
- Photos of packaging and machine condition
- Serial number and invoice details
- DigiFabb AND the manufacturer must both validate DOA.
If DOA is not confirmed, it will be treated as a warranty case.
2.2.CONSUMABLES
(Includes resins, wax cartridges, filaments, chemicals, IPA, lubricants, cleaning agents)
Consumables are non-returnable and non-refundable unless:
- Wrong product shipped
- Damaged/leaking on delivery
- Manufacturing defect confirmed
Conditions:
- Report within 24 hours of delivery
- Product must be unopened & unused
- Evidence (photos/videos) is mandatory
2.3.SPARE PARTS & ACCESSORIES
Refund/replacement only in cases of:
- Wrong part delivered
- Damaged item
- Non-functional or defective part (verified by DigiFabb)
Conditions:
- Report within 48 hours
- Must be unused and sealed
- If defect occurs after installation, warranty policy applies—not refunds
2.4.SOFTWARE LICENSES & DIGITAL PRODUCTS
Once delivered/activated:
- Absolutely no cancellations or refunds.
Refund allowed ONLY if:
- Duplicate payment
- License not yet generated
- Incorrect license supplied
3.ORDER CANCELLATION RULES
Cancellation is allowed only when:
- Order has not been shipped
- Product category permits cancellation
Cancellation charges:
- Payment gateway charges (non-refundable)
- Any administrative or inspection cost
If order has shipped → No cancellation under any circumstances.
4.WARRANTY & POST-DELIVERY RESPONSIBILITIES
Warranty does not cover:
- Physical damage after delivery
- Electrical surge or improper power supply
- Incorrect installation not done by DigiFabb
- Consumable wear & tear
- Mishandling or unauthorized repairs
If the machine fails or malfunctions after use:
- Treated strictly under Manufacturer’s Warranty Policy.
- No refund or return will be accepted.
5.EVIDENCE REQUIREMENT FOR ANY CLAIM
For any claim (damage, defect, shortage, wrong item), the following are mandatory:
- Uncut, continuous unboxing video from package opening till full inspection
- Photos of packaging, labels, and internal box
- Proof of damage on packaging (if applicable)
- Serial number images
- Invoice copy
Claims without proper evidence cannot be processed.
6.INSPECTION & VERIFICATION PROCESS
For all return/replacement/refund applications:
- DigiFabb technical team performs a preliminary evaluation.
- If needed, manufacturer engineers may conduct remote diagnostics or field inspection.
- Only after confirmation of defect or error from DigiFabb/manufacturer will the claim proceed.
If the claim is not validated, the product will be returned to the customer at their own cost.
7.REFUND TIMELINE & MODE
Once approved:
- Refund initiated within 5–7 working days
- Payment gateway partner may take 3–7 additional working days to credit the amount
- Refund is issued ONLY to the original payment source
- No cash or alternative mode is allowed
Total estimated time: 7–14 working days
8.PRICING ERRORS, STOCK ISSUES & FORCE MAJEURE
DigiFabb reserves the right to:
- Cancel orders in case of pricing errors
- Cancel orders if product is unavailable or discontinued
- Delay or cancel shipment in case of:
- Natural disasters
- Strikes
- Transport restrictions
- Manufacturer delays
- Government orders
In such cases:
- Refund is processed (minus gateway charges).
- No compensation is payable.
9.FRAUD CHECKS & MISUSE PREVENTION
DigiFabb reserves the right to deny refund/return in cases of:
- Misrepresentation of issues
- Tampered products or packaging
- Modified firmware/software
- Damage caused by unauthorized servicing
- Disputes raised without evidence
Any fraudulent activity may be reported to:
- Payment gateway partner
- Logistics partner
- Law enforcement (if severe)
10.LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
DigiFabb’s liability is limited strictly to:
- Replacement (if eligible)
- Warranty service
- Refund (only when policy allows)
We are NOT liable for:
- Business loss
- Downtime or production delay
- Loss of data
- Consequential damages
- Third-party costs
- Customer negligence
11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCESS
In case of disagreements, the following procedure applies:
11.1.Internal Resolution (Mandatory)
Customer must first email at support@digifabb.co.in with complete issue details and evidence.
Response within 48–72 working hours.
11.2.Escalation
If unresolved, the case is escalated to:
- Customer Resolution Manager
- Manufacturer (if applicable)
- Payment Gateway partner (only in case of payment disputes)
11.3.Mediation / Arbitration
If still unresolved, dispute must be settled through binding arbitration, NOT court, except for enforcement.
Arbitration details:
- As per Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996
- Sole arbitrator appointed by DigiFabb
- Proceedings in Mumbai, Maharashtra
- Language: English
11.4.Legal Jurisdiction
If arbitration fails or enforcement is required:
- Courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
12.NO CHARGEBACK POLICY
Since this Policy is agreed to before purchase:
- Customers agree not to file chargebacks via payment gateway partner/banks.
- Any chargeback filed contrary to this Policy will be defended with:
- Delivery Proof
- Serial number match
- Warranty & support records
- Customer communication
- Unboxing evidence
If customer loses a chargeback case:
- They will bear all chargeback penalty fees.
